Youth

YOUTH BELONG HERE.

Montvale Youth strives to build quality relationships with middle school and high school students through all seasons of life. We believe in the power of Jesus and that His love transforms our lives. Our prayer and our mission is to be a place where the love of Jesus is shared, where relationships with Him are grown, and where lives are transformed.
Youth belong here.

YOUTH GROUPS

THE BRIDGE – Middle School Ministry
5th – 8th GRADE STUDENTS
WEDNESDAYS, 7 – 9 PM IN THE FIRESIDE ROOM
(SEPTEMBER – JUNE)

The BRIDGE kicks-off every Wednesday evening with fun games, activities, and music. Afterwards, we head back to the youth room for more fun and snacks. We then go into a time of worship led by our student worship team and then hear a lesson which leads us into small group discussions. Our lessons are created to be relevant to our current world and the culture that the students are often immersed in. After small groups, students go home.

CATALYST – High School Ministry
9th – 12th GRADE STUDENTS
THURSDAYS, 7 – 9 PM IN THE FIRESIDE ROOM
(SEPTEMBER – JUNE)

CATALYST starts off every Thursday evening with socializing, snacks, and music. We then play a fun game before returning to the youth room for worship and a lesson. Weekly lessons are always Biblically based, relevant to our current culture, and are geared to address issues that are faced by the high school population. After each lesson, students will break up into small groups for a short discussion to end the evening.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

BIBLE STUDIES FOR LIFE – Middle School Spiritual Formation

5TH – 8TH GRADE STUDENTS

9:20-10AM IN THE DOWNSTAIRS RESOURCE ROOM

(SEPTEMBER – JUNE)

Bible Studies For Life is our chosen curriculum from LifeWay Christian Resources for our Middle School Spiritual Formation class on Sunday mornings. Also called “Sunday School”, our Middle School Spiritual Formation is led by 2 teachers who go through the weekly lesson with the students. The lessons are 100% biblically based, culturally relevant, and geared toward the stage of life that 5th – 8th grade students are in. Each week, different topics and questions will be addressed in the curriculum. Students will be encouraged to reflect on the biblical lesson and answer questions for themselves. Our goal for Middle School Spiritual Formation is this: for each student to confidently place their identity in Christ, knowing the love that God has for them, and boldly living out God’s plan for their lives.

New to us or miss a week? No problem! There is no registration for this course, and students can join us on any Sunday morning!
