Montvale Clean-Up Day

Montvale Clean-Up Day
April 8, 2014 Jonathan Cabrera
Spring is here! With more comfortable weather comes some awesome opportunities to be outside soaking up the sun! Montvale Clean-up Day is Saturday, April 26 and it’s for the Middle School group. It will start at 9 am and end around 12 to 1 pm.
Montvale Clean-up Day is an event that many different groups of people do to clean up the streets around town that the town organizes. Other churches, Boy Scouts, etc do this event and we all are assigned different areas of town to clean up. Our area to clean up is Grand Avenue, from Chestnut Ridge road up to Kinderkamack. We are staying on the North side of Grand, which is the same side that MEFC is on, since the other side of the street is Park Ridge. It’s a great chance for some community service time and it’s a great bonding experience. Plus, the town always looks so clean afterwards! It’s a great way to help out.
We need a head count by April 10. If your student is interested, please email the office at kayleigh.wickersham@montvalechurch.org, so that we can contact our Councilwoman with how many students we will have going.
