Junior High participating in 30-hour famine

Junior High participating in 30-hour famine
March 2, 2012 office

This annual event is put on through World Vision to raise awareness, and money, for people around the world that are being affected by hunger and famine. The junior high will be joining the “National Famine” on April 27-28.

Nearly a billion people go hungry every day. More than 11,000 kids under five die every day from hunger related causes – one every 8 seconds. Every $30 raised can feed and care for one child for a month.

You can find out more about the famine from their website. Let’s help the junior high help the rest of the world.
